In Heart of Destruction, after killing the 3 first bosses (ank, zao and svar) we get access to 2 new bosses:

  • Eradicator
  • Outburst

In the fight against Outburst , after dealing some damage to him, he will turn into

Charging Outburst , if we don't kill it fast enough (10 seconds? I'm not sure) it will explode, dealing massive damage to everyone in the room (around ~4,000).

What kind of damage does his explosion deals? How can I protect against it?

According to

https://tibia.fandom.com/wiki/Charging_Outburst

the damage dealt is energy-damage and around 3k. The pure damage should be measured without having any energy protection.

You can reduce it by wearing all kind of energy protectons: Void boots , prismatic necklace  and prismatic rings.

More energy-reducing gear is based on which vocation you play. Of couse you can also use cheaper necklaces such as lightning pendant or strange talisman.

As a mage (druid/sorcerer) you can use

  • gnome helmet or tiara of power  or lightning headband
  • different spellbooks: umbral master spellbook , spirit guide
  • falcon rod (druid) or energized limb (sorcerer)
  • lightning legs or gnome legs
  • armor: dream shroud or thundermind raiment
  • special boots: Pair of nightmare boots

A very cheap and almost full protection is given by the Lightning Set (Link to TibiaWiki)

As a knight you can use

  • shields: gnome shield or shields imbued with energy protection, such as ornate shield
  • silver token armors, regarding what weapon you are using: thunderheart --cuirass , --hauberk , --platemail
  • weapons: Falcon mace  or falcon battleaxe

Paladins have the thundersoul tabard .

My research couldnt find more vocation-bound gear for paladins, so I guess, the only way for protecting paladins is also to use prismatic ring and necklace. Prismatic items mostly serve for physical protection, secondly its energy protection.

I'm not sure what kind of damage it does but there are certain ways to prevent the explosion:

  • Remember that it's very weak to physical damage so anything that can deal this kind of damage should be used
  • Having an RP using utito and, in general, everything boosting his skill will help a lot! With one EK and an RP around 400 lvl, it shouldn't explode.
  • MS should use explosion runes
  • Druid should use either explosion runes or the Physical Strike spell

Irrespectively of the profession after 3-4 rounds of damaging the boss, use energy ring juuuuust in case! :)

Yes, I know he can be killed really fast, but my question is about how to mitigate his damage IN CASE the team cannot kill it :\ so a lower level team can prepare accordingly, before trying the boss

Let me rephrase it then for you, according to all the pages, it is always even up to 6k damage to everyone in the room after around 12 seconds and it CAN'T be avoided. So as I said before, the only solution is to follow the path I provided: kill it fast and if you are unable, use energy ring.

You are right, the damage cannot be avoided, but it can be mitigated. Just like gaz'Haragoth ultimate attack is Energy based, it cannot be avoided, but it can be reduced by a energy protection set. Outburst UE also has its own kind of damage, which can be reduced by the correct equipment. My question is exactly about it, what kind of damage is it, so i can prepare and reduce it as much as possible.

PS: wasn't me who downvoted you.
