Is it beneficial to carry around a Claw of 'The Noxious Spawn'?

My question to you is it still beneficial to carry around this claw? I remember in the olden days it was recommended by one of my friends to have this item. Now I'm questioning whether it's even worth carrying around anymore.

Well in pvp servers it is used to suicide fast ur char which ever the need is: Not to take red skull if you have opened skull in many people and they will die, or  to make an enemy take frag if he opened on you.

This is the only use that comes to my mind
