Is it possible to get poisoned to death by drinking slime?

I remember one of my first deaths in Tibia as a noob was drinking Slime. Is it still possible to die by drinking slime? And I mean with no other creatures or players hitting you - Just you simply drinking a vial of slime. (Of course you can get low hit points by something else and then try drinking slime)

Why wouldn't it be fatal? I wonder what you're thinking of in specific that could make it non-lethal. It's ticking damage and if your health is low enough and the regeneration is slower than the damage taken, then you should be able to die from it like any other damaging status effect.

Let's just say with updates there can be some changes that we're not even aware of. I've had some personal experience in drinking some slime lately. Don't knock it til you try it.

Many years ago (2005-2007) I killed lots of people on Rookgaard (using slime) to get their apples. I still have about 30 of them on my rookstayer. Anyway, the question is actually quite interesting so for old times' sake, I decided to test it out.

1st test

Swearing to the king to have just 1 hp, then drinking slime:

Nothing happens, slime doesn't work at all.

2nd test

Drink so much slime to die normally, from full hp to 0:

My hp dropped to 11, poison still works.

Poisoned status stopped at 10hp. I drank another slime, but as you can see it didn't work.

Conclusion - nowadays it's not possible anymore to die by drinking slime.

Interesting fact for sure, thank you for testing this out and providing pictures. :) Wish we could pinpoint when the change happened - but it doesn't really matter.

No, it is no longer possible to die from vial of slime, in the old days it was possible, and people used this mechanism to kill people with impunity promising them a big reward if they wrote a special text to king tibianus or queen carlin. But cipsoft has removed this option so that new players are not harassed by scammers.

When did they remove this and what hitpoints do you stop getting poisoned?

I cant tell when they remove that but it was long time ago, and you stop getting poisoned on less that 10hp, but remember it works ONLY with vial of slime any another source of poison damage still can kill you

Yes, you can still die it's earth damage anyway if you lose more hitpoints that the ones you have you will die.

I don't think you understand the question. Can you die by the poison from drinking slime? Of course you can get low hit points by something else and then try drinking slime...

if you can die by drinking slime. like let's say your at 20 hitpoints and you decide to drink some slime. what happens? will you die?
