If a question you are interested in hasn't received enough attention, there are ways to give it more visibility so that it's more likely to receive answers. The two tools that can help with that are bumps and pins.

Bumping questions
All registered users are able to bump questions. Bumping a question will instantly move it back to the top of the All Activity section. Questions can only be bumped if they were posted at least 24 hours ago and if there was no activity in them for the past 24 hours. Each user can bump a question once every 12 hours. To perform a bump, simply click on the bump button displayed at the question. The button will only be displayed if the above criteria are met. It does not matter whether the question was posted by you or someone else - if you want to give it more visibility, you can perform the bump on it.

Pinning questions
After gaining enough reputation points, you will be able to pin questions to the top of the question pages. Questions can only be pinned if they were posted at least 24 hours ago and each user can only pin a question once every 7 days. Pinning the question will make the question display at the top of all the question pages for the duration of 12 hours. Only 3 questions can be simultaneously pinned. If you attempt to pin another question while 3 questions are already pinned, it will be placed in a queue and pinned as soon as a spot becomes available. To pin a question, simply click on the pin button displayed at the question. The button will only be displayed if the above criteria are met. It does not matter whether the question was posted by you or someone else - if you want to give it more visibility, you can pin it to the top of the question pages. While viewing the pinned question, it will display who pinned it and how much longer it will stay pinned to the top.
