I think this is a task you need to complete every year. The reason why I say this is because I know last year I forgot to No, you need to go to each of the cake extractors every year or event. I tested this out again and I will edit my answer if I can remember to. All kudos to oriibsz whom posted before me though. on one of my characters. I never got a cupcake last year on that character. This year I stepped on each machine block and it made the pie animation for each city on that character so I believe that this is something you need to complete every event and what you did the last event won't count for the next one. I know sometimes they make changes to the events so I cant be 100% sure but I will test characters from the last event she didn't go to the Edron extractor or finish it the event and this year she had to redo the Edron extractor.
