If a game world is reset during an event or world quest, the event won't last longer than other worlds. The event schedule typically remains the same for all game worlds. However, if a game world is reset sometimes (not always) there's compensation. This compensation is usually double xp/skill the following weekend. I've tried to find an exception to this rule going based off on my memory and of the news archives but I wasn't able to prove myself wrong.
wrong. But of course, I've just looked through recent events. Here's to say this won't change in the future, I just cannot find any proof that Cipsoft extends events for certain worlds. Here are some examples-

During Annual Autumn Vintage (Which takes place which takes place from October 01-08, and again from October 17-24) "We had to reset the game world Jonera to the state of October 1, 10:00 CEST, due to a technical problem. We would like to offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused." "As compensation for the recent reset of Jonera, a double XP/skill weekend will take place on this game world between the server saves of October 11 and October 14." Here's an official response: "We will not add another day to the Tournament on Endura. Even with the reset, it is still possible to finish the 14 hours of total playtime."
