<p>Your fishing skill increases the chance that you will successfully catch a fish, up to a maximum chance of 50% at fishing skill 77 and beyond (<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.tibia-stats.com/index.php?akcja=6003&amp;research=fishing">source</a>). I While Ice Fishing it seems the skill cap may be higher but doesn't&nbsp;necessarily correspond to catching a rarer fish.&nbsp;I was wondering if a higher fishing skill increased your chances of catching a&nbsp;Shimmer Swimmer over the Fish Bones.&nbsp;</p><p><a rel="nofollow" href="https://tibia.fandom.com/wiki/Shimmer_Swimmer">TibiaWiki</a> mentions "Getting this fish can be quite time consuming when using a character with a low fishing skill." but I did not find any other source or statistics on the site.</p>
