I haven't hunted Library but I would say the best option would be a Ghost Chestplate or Gnome Armor Soulshell imbued with Ice Protection. This will give you an additional 4% Ice Protection over the Embrace of Nature. Also, both armors have the benefit of giving physical protection as well which is typically the highest damage you receive while hunting.

You may not take as much physical damage as a shooter in Library but in winter elves as far as I recall you will still be taking 50%-60% physical or more.
