I used to do that, alternate junta pf hunts of profit and exp.

But nowadays I have realiced realised that I get more profit doing bosses than hunting, so I hunt only for exp ( burning gladiator a) and then I do all the team and solo bosses than I can.

Ofc if you can not do this, you could alternate the hunts as you proposed, or try to go to some places where the exp and the loot is good; examples: Fazer spectres, asura mirror, summer/winter courts...

I cant provide you with better alternatives since u said not ur voc and lvl
