I want to know the chat limit? What is the limit then?How many lines do you need to make messages disappear from chat?

I am curious about it, because yesterday before the boss I wrote asking because I was making a boss yesterday, and I lost it. I think it was deleted? But then, was it because of the the message in local channel I wanted to copy it later But after we killed the boss the boss.
