Why do some streamers use a Mage Hat at higher ~~levels~~ ?levels?

I see many youtube videos where high lvl mages are using Mage ~~Hat,~~ Hat. I think it has something to do with ~~imbu,~~ imbuements, is it only better with T3 imbu?

Why I see many mages and streamers using a Mage Hat at higher levels?

I see many youtube videos where high lvl mages are using Mage Hat, I think it has to do with imbu, is it only better with T3 imbu?
