Druids are one of the vocations with the highest sense of surrounding needed, they are the ones who keep their knights alive and at the same time need to keep an eye on their own safety aswell with other shooters if need be. Some players might think that aslong as you are spamming Exura Sio you'll be okay as a druid, sometimes thats all you need, but there is so much more to know to master the druid vocation.

Here are some of my personal tips from playing a druid for around 9 years:

  • If you are new to a hunting area, don't be afraid to use mana shield. I know, I know.. it's more waste and I absolutely hate using mana shield aswell. But its much less waste than you dying, then the knight dying than just you wasting a some more potions. Get to know the spawn & monsters first, then you can remove mana shield when you feel secure.
  • If a monster targets you dont run away from the knight, run towards him. A beginner move for a druid is always to run away from the creature, sometimes that can be good, but most of the time, not so much. The Knight is there to protect you, let him take the monster from you.
  • Have energy ring on hotkey, this is a life saver in certain situations.
  • Have a few bombs with you at all times (Energy/Fire bombs), these are also life savers in certain situation. Also some hunts you can literally just sit in a energy/fire bomb most of the time and never have the monsters target you.
  • A tip about healing your knight friend, Exura Sio is obviously the way to go, Just keep in mind though that when you use Exura Sio you cannot heal yourself as exura sio share the same cooldown with other support spells like (Exura, exura gran, exura sio etc...), this is why I use Exura Gran Mas Res (Mass Healing) when needed, as this spell heal both you and the knight.
  • Always try keep your mana high, you never know when you need get into a sticky situation where you are at risk of dying.
