I know that making achievements can put my character higher in highscores by gaining points. But do I get something else from it? What benefits can I get from making achievements?

There're no benefits from making achievements sadly! Achievements aren't like quests- They don't give us items, experience, etc. They are just to show off basically. You can pretty much say hey, this is how far I've come in the game and this is how I feel successful. I like to see how much achievement points my friends have by searching on the website or on my friends list. You can pretty much compare yourself to your friends so it's a little competition. A little friendly competition never hurt! ; ) Achievements honestly give you something to do rather than hunt or sell loot LOL. I look forward to hopefully finding some secret achievements as some haven't yet been discovered.

So we can say, if we want to make achievements, we need to make quests, so somehow we can benefit from it. A win-win situation, depending on what is more important to the player (as you wrote, either hunt, sell loot or make achievements). Thanks!

Id say to each their own! I love achievements personally but some players don't bother with it. The benefit to me is in-game experience and just an additional way to play the game. Would be cool to gain something from it rather than personal benefit.
