Do you need to exchange the 'all knowing sausages' every year?

I'm going crazy because I know for sure that last year I took this item and now I cant find it anywhere.

Is it necessary to get it every year?

Maybe the question is absurd if I have indeed lost it...

You don't have to exchange "all knowing sausages" every year. If you get it, you can use it all the time. I suggest you keep it in your backpack because you can't search it in your depo.

oh.. that must be what is happening, I tryed to find it using the search tool of the depot, that's why I though I had lost it or that It dissapeared every year.
