Is it possible to check if Dark Grounds area is open using the Cyclopedia map?

Maybe a stair yellow spot or something different. Mainly asking if I can check if Dark Grounds is open by not going there (i.e. checking the Cyclopedia map) or if I have to go there and check by myself.

I think you need to go check. It doesn't appear on the cyclopedia map. I hope that helps.
