Is the boss Oberon a reference to the old player named also Oberon?

Does anyone knows if the story of the Falcon Order is a reference to a story related to this player?

There is no proof of this that I am aware of. Oberon is a name that is used in other stories. Most notably in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
