Are there other uses for firewalker boots?

As an item gained in the hidden city of beregar the firewalker boots seem really useless and more or less deco. but perhaps we can use these boots to gain enough protection to walk on lava??

In my opinion their use is mostly as deco nowadays.

Years ago when there was like only BoH / Soft Boots / Firewalker, ppl used em to hunt stuff that does Fire Fields

Depending on what kind of use you're interested in. They're nowadays mostly worn to get an achievement. This is a lot of work though.

I use them on goroma demons while working on my demon task, (but now mainly to get an achievement), where are lots of DLs, they spam fire bombs a lot which is kinda annoying and having firewalker boots may be helpful when you are lower level
