Why do you take damage when stepping on lava inside gnomish area, but you won't inside gnome deep hub?

So if you step on lava in the place where Ravenous Lava Lurkers are you'll get damage inflicted to you, but if you step on lava in any Gnome Deep Hub where Lava Lurkers are, you won't take damage.
I wonder if there's a reason for this happening

I am not 100% sure if I understand in which area you talk about not taking damage but I assume you mean inside the pump rooms?
Basicly it is different tiles with different properties so maybe thats all. If you walk towards the north (Diremaw area) there is also lava tiles which you take damage from so it is not exclusivly in the Ravenous Lava Lurker area.

Maybe because they're task areas and they have that as a mechanic?
