Why golden figurine can't be bought in the market?

Although this item is a creature drop, it cannot be purchased from the market. Why?

You can't buy them because they are considered prizes for winning something, recognition for winning a fansite competition or some recognition since you can write about them, wouldn't it be cool to be able to buy them and put your name on them. but you can go and loot them in the ghost creatures betrayed in the dt seal of the inquisition quest
