How to get Ominous Soul Core? Does it have any function?

Among all the soul cores listed on the market, there is one that caught my attention: Ominous Soul Core.

You see an ominous soul core.

A mysterious force echoes from within.

It is the only soul core with an animation and its description is also different from the others, in addition to not being related to any creature in the game.

How to get Ominous Soul Core? Does it have any function? Or is it just a decoration item?

I got one by using a Soul prism in a low level soul core… o have no idea what it is used for but I sold it for a nice money.
