The amount of soulseals needed to enter the soulpit depends on the creature difficulty:

Because we're interested in any creature whatsoever, we should get the weakest ones possible.
Ideally we'd kill 200 harmless creatures, but there aren't 200 harmless creatures in the game, then we have to kill some of the stronger ones.
As of now, we have the following amount of creatures available for each difficulty for solo soulpit:

Given that, we should get the weakest 200 available: 15 harmless, 37 trivial, 126 easy and 22 medium.
This should totalize 200 creatures. The amount of soulseals needed will be:
15 * 10 + 37 * 20 + 126 * 30 + 22 * 40 = 5550
This means we need 5550 soulseals to kill the 200 weakest creatures available for solo soulpit.
Because we can get at most 18 soulseals per week, this is the amount of time it would take for each number of soulseals between 1 and 18 you would get per week:

getting 17 soulseals per week, it'd take approximately 6 years
getting 16 soulseals per week, it'd take approximately 7 years

Conclusion
It's quite inefficient to get 200 animus mastery this way. It seems to be much easier to do regular soul cores and use soulseals for creatures that are harder to find a core for - or specific creatures you are interested in.
