For the hunting task achievements with the new update, we already know that selecting specific weekly task difficulties affects which achievement a player is working on. Does the "Any Creature" weekly task act as a regular creature task or is it an extra task that does not count?

Hi, Libi!

I was curious about this too, so I made a research in Tibia's forum and I found this post quoting Fluffy's answer:

"(...) Beginner Kill Tasks are required for Verminbane, Adept Tasks for Monsterhunter, and Expert or Master Tasks for Taskmaster. The Any Creature Task should also count."

You can find the post here.

So, according to this, the "any creature" tasks do count for the achievements.

I am really curious if this works. If that is the case in theory I should acquire the achievement on Monday when the task delivers. I have kept count of my hunting tasks since the update (also since CIP responded with how many I have completed up to that point). If the “Any Creature” does work, I will know without a doubt at that time.

Would be lovely if you would update us on this matter whenever you get the achievement! I've been wondering myself the same.

Just a headsup, CM Liamas wrote on Tibia forum <News Ticker Messages December 2025 - Page 9> that the task count was bugged. So depending on when you contacted Cip, it may impact/mislead the progress count. Quoting Liamas:

"Immediately after the launch of the winter update and the new task system, the number of kill tasks per week was not being counted correctly. It seemed that only one kill task per week was being counted towards the achievement.

This issue has been fixed with yesterday's <16.12.2025> patch. We apologise that we cannot retrospectively consider tasks that were completed correctly."
