is this boost the same as completing the soulpit solo using soulseals?

The reward of unlocking it is a permanent +2% base XP bonus when defeating these creatures. Additionally, this bonus increases by +0.1% for every ten creatures a character has Animus Mastery unlocked for, up to a maximum of an extra +2%. This means that a character with 200 Animus Masteries unlocked will receive a total of +4% extra base XP for every creature it has Animus Mastery for.
