It is possible to cancel Zalamon weekly task?

I have started weekly task from Zalamon and he refuse to give next main mission of WoTE quest until its finished. It is possible to cancel it somehow? Will it expire after whole week?

You cannot cancel Zalomons weekly task, but you can wait this seven days to expire or make this mission to finish the task.
