Blocking Does staying on the floor above Ocyakao's respawn of Ocyakaoblocks him from respawning?

I am trying to kill Ocyakao, and i I wonder if i will I levitate on +1 floor above his respawn spot and wait there for him, will he resp respawn or i will will I block his resp?
