I was reading about the History of Fibula and I came across Calcanea, a place I've never heard of. Can you please tell me why did they change this location? They changed the spawning of the Giant Spider, the building, and also the entrance to the location. But why?

One of the two islands north of Fibula and west of Thais (here). It is said that the inhabitants have been killed by a Giant Spider that came to the surface.

The island used to be accessible through a dead tree in the northeast most corner of the rotworm wing of the Fibula Dungeon. What you would find on the island is a Giant Spider and a house. At that time there was only one island where there's two these days.

Nowadays the building and the Giant Spider are removed from the island and it's inaccessible by normal players (you can only teleport there)

I found on Tibia.pl forum this: (translated from polish) Website here

On the surface you could find a lot of  Northern Pikes and only few people knew how to get them. Because not everyone knew the way to the Island, that's why people started selling these fishes for very expensive.  Cipsoft was upset because only a few players knew how to get to the island, so they could earn big money and use cave bots on the Giant Spiders to the get a bigger level. What was called "sheep level".

Some info from TibiaWiki about Northern Pike:

This was an Unobtainable Item from Update 7.2 until Update 8.0. It was previously referred as "Big Fish" by the players and it was thought to be fishable at some special spot or at a specific fishing skill.
