How long does it take a monster to decay?

Question

As the question states: I would like to know how long does it take for a monster body to decay?

Does it vary or is it always the same time, doesn't matter what kind of monster is it?

How long the corpse will stay "fresh", half-rotten, only a skeleton?

i  can only half answer ur question, yes it depends on the monster, for example pirates decay to half-rotten in 30 seconds or less, and stay in that state until dissappear  for idk 5minutes-60 seconds*.

most of the bones lasts for 60 seconds, and not all mobs decay to them,

also i could suppose the numbers for mobs that pass for this stages are the same:

5 minutes fresh ? > 5 minutes half-rotten > 60 seconds bones

Most monsters have 3 stages of decay: 5 min, 5 min, 1 min.

Some monsters have different times, such as a cat: 5min, 5min, 5min.

You can take the loot the first 5 mins when the dead body is fresh.

After it will become half-rotten for the next 5 min and skeleton for the last min until disappear.
