Can you get banned for posting insulting posts on forum?

I'm wondering what is the punishment for mildly insulting comments on Tibian forum? The same goes for the signatures, which appear under the person's comment. Can you actually get banned or the posts are only deleted from the forum?

I would only like to add that if you guys know any examples of what happens to the inappropriate forum signatures, it would be most helpful.

Sure you can get banned but it depends some facts, for example, if is a case of a reapet offender, or how how severe is your insulting.

Violating or attempting to violate the Tibia Rules may lead to a temporary suspension of characters and accounts. In severe cases the removal or modification of character skills, attributes and belongings, as well as the permanent removal of characters and accounts without any compensation may be considered. The sanction is based on the seriousness of the rule violation and the previous record of the player. It is determined at the sole discretion of CipSoft and can be imposed without any previous warning.
