Can you get banned for using xpadder?

Is it possible to get punished in any way shape or form using xpadder to play with a x box controller.

Posting as a comment because I'm not 100% sure: as far as I know, there are many people playing with an xbox controller for a long time and no one was banned. And, as I heard, and you should check the rules to confirm: mapping 1 key for 1 action is fine. The issue is when someone maps 1 key for multiple actions.

Its not illegal, BUT take care about how many actions you configure for every click/button more than one is a ban.
