Is same sex marriage allowed in Tibia?

A long time ago a read something about it but now I can't remember if it was a official souurce or not, so I want to know if same sex marriage is allowed in Tibia

Yes, same-sex marriage is allowed in Tibia! I've done it myself plenty of times.

You cannot be married if you are already married, but you may marry a character of the same sex.
