Do you always keep the same mark for A Pirate's Death to Me world task?

For A Pirate's Death to Me my mark is arrow... is there any way to change this mark? Do I always keep this mark from event to event?

Yes, the type of soul will be the same always. It is randomly selected and can't be changed. I did the event a year ago 3 times, and this year I try again and my soul is the same.
