Does skinning rabbits for Rabbit feet count towards the 'Skinning' achievement?

Question

I am just doing my daily almost hopeless task of skinning Rabbits for Rabbit's Foot Lucky Charm  in the Outlaw camp quest Rottin Wood and the Married Men, in search of the elusive Hunting Horn  and it got me wondering, Does the act of skinning the rabbit count towards the achievement Skin-Deep?

Any help much appreciated

No they do not count. Following you can see a table with the monsters that will count skinning for the achievement.

Actually I've made the whole Clomp bestiary, counted all the pieces I skinned, and now I have counted more than 550, but still no achievement.

I don't really know about Clomps counting towards it.
