For example, Bane Bringer's location is listed as "?" in my Bestiary even though I fully unlocked them. If you could maybe tell me why this is and some other examples I'd greatly appreciate it. Obviously, I know where they are it's just odd it won't list the location.

I am not able to verify at the moment but I would guess it is all creatures that don't follow the regular spawning mechanic. If the creature is only every few hours, related to a special mechanic to get it to appear, a world change, etc,  it won't appear.

If I had to guess I'd say because there are event, special spawn or special triggered creatures. I'll put some examples of my own bestiary:

Thornfire Wolf or Redeemed soul are creatures that need some actions for their spawn and their locations are unknown in bestiary.

Water Buffalo or Elf Overseer spawns few times a day in case of overseer only one and their locations are unknown in bestiary too.

Berrypests or Grynch Clan Goblins are event creatures and they haven't any known location in bestiary.

Maybe I forgot some reason that why this happens but I think you see the patter here.
