Other day a fiend monster was spawned there and I was wondering what place is that

This location is part of The Explorer Society Quest. The location is inhabited by Quaras and is accessible to the player after receiving The Frozen Trench mission. Although the location is unlocked during the quest it is also a hunting ground. The entrance to the location is on a ship on Tyrsung Island.
