Bosstiary has been officially introduced into Tibia. As is widely known, it involves killing a certain number of bosses from three different difficulty categories in exchange for certain benefits.

I was interested in bosses from the Nemesis category (mainly those with random spawns), as the required number to complete an entry is only 5. When I took the first steps in looking for them, I noticed that I was spending a lot of time on it without any results. This was happening by running all over the Tibia map, often in an inconsiderate and disorderly manner.

How to plan out a route to check Nemesis bosses with a random spawn as fast as possible, so that my search will be more efficient?

I would appreciate the following:

▶ tips and solutions that will reduce the checking time,

▶ maps that will illustrate examples of routes.

The question requires a rather extensive tutorial, so I invite you to take a trip in the footsteps of the bosses.

TIP 1: Check only those Nemesis bosses that are likely to appear.

Something obvious to start with, though maybe not for everyone. Most bosses with random respawn appear within a particular time frame. You can calculate it based on the stats yourself, or you can look it up on sites with predictions like TibiaBosses.com.

Skip bosses with shared-respawn mechanics. You can trigger their respawn yourself!

Don't forget about Fury Gates! A popular mini world change, valuable to the boss-hunter primarily for the Furyosa that appears there. Although defeating this boss for a low-level character seems to be very difficult, in the context of Bosstiary it is worth calling a team to help!

We need to take this into account when planning our route, as the location of Fury Gate is variable and the mwc is sometimes inactive.

TIP 2: Use your low-level or alternative characters to check out weak and/or hard-to-reach bosses.

Here you can find bosses that you can check even at level 8 with a character wearing the Stealth Ring. However, apply this advice to your own abilities as well:

  • Captain Jones,
  • Foreman Kneebiter,
  • Zevelon Duskbringer,
  • Zaraburstor,

... and other bosses you think you can check with your characters.

This will save you a tremendous amount of time and allow you to exclude quite a large part of the map to run through, and you will be free to re-log your characters.
Nowadays, you can even buy some mid-level characters at Char Bazaar for this purpose, to sell them after completing Bosstiary entries.

TIP 3: Take into account the ease of travel and necessary quests.

You won't sail everywhere from every city. Not every city has a flying carpet. Take this into account!

It's worth having a few quests completed, which will speed up your travels considerably:

  • Have some Orichalcum Pearls in your backpack! When returning from the POI, use the Knightwatch Tower with teleports to different cities (Dreamer’s Challenge Quest). The fastest way to get from the Liberty Bay depo to Svargrond is through the Explorer Society teleport (The Explorer Society Quest),

  • Wanting to get to Zao, it may be faster to use fire teleport in the Hall of Hopes. To check Hirintror in Formorgar Mines you can use Ice Portal. Also useful is the green Earth Portal that takes us directly to Outlaw Camp - near the Plains of Havoc area (Forgotten Knowledge Quest),

  • Do you need access to Nargor? Unfortunately, you won't sail there without helping Eleonore first! (The Shattered Isles Quest),

  • Although Buddel should not sail the boat in this state of alcoholic intoxication, you may find that he will speed up your journey on Hrodmir. (Barbarian Test Quest)

Determining any standard route is simply impossible, as your route will depend on what bosses may appear (TIP 1), what bosses you can skip (TIP 2) and only taking these two aspects into account you can plan the fastest route, keeping in mind shortcuts and ease of travel (TIP 3).

However, by being in specific cities or areas, and knowing the occurrence of bosses, we can come up with certain routes that will take the least amount of time possible. The maps shown below cover a range of areas with a large number of bosses. Some of the bosses appear in rather isolated spots. These, unfortunately, you will not find on these maps. Such bosses require an „individual check” or an alternative char.

Maps' legend:

IMPORTANT! The locations of bosses on these maps are approximate. Some of them you can find underground, or at higher levels. You can find their exact locations in Bossopedia (TibiaBosses.com), or by typing the name of a boss on Tibia.Fandom.com, TibiaWiki.com.br, or Tibiopedia.pl.

*At the end of the post, you will also find a static version of all these maps!*

AB’DENDRIEL/HELLGATE

Well, treat this map as a warm-up.

Ab'Dendriel is not a city heavily occupied by bosses. Three of them will be encountered deep in Hellgate, and on the surface, you will occasionally find Fury Gate.

It's worth considering using alternate characters on Hellgate, although I realize that The Evil Eye can be problematic in this regard.

EDRON AND SURROUNDINGS

I'll admit that I had a lot of doubts when presenting this map, because Edron is really full of bosses, which I highly recommend checking out using noob-characters equipped with Stealth Ring.

Be sure to apply it for Bigg Boss Trolliver, White Pale, and Rotworm Queen!

I also recommend a character with Stealth Ring on The Old Whopper.

You can check The Big Bad One with Stealth Ring when there is no chance for Shlorg or Sir Valorcrest to show up. However, if you check out one of these bosses, the road to this wolf is really short!

Although Edron has a flying carpet option, we will sail to Venore.

VENORE AND SURROUNDINGS

Venore and surroundings is an area where aside from the POI bosses, it's actually convenient to leave some low-level character almost everywhere. However, if you don't have a whole army of noobchars to check out bosses, I suggest using one for Xenia and another (optionally) for Yaga the Crone, which is very easy to check out on the way to the POI.

After finishing the boss check, we can go to the Earth Portal at Outlaw Camp or to Knightwatch Tower and land... Thais, for example!

THAIS AND SURROUNDINGS

Thais is another area where it makes sense to leave a few low-level characters logged out on the Stealth Ring. I would put the emphasis on Grorlam's respawns, as it is Mount Sternum that is the least convenient place to check out among those in the area. However, wanting to determine a possible route, the one presented above seems the most effective.

You have probably noticed that I am hinting at Hirintror here. This is because using the Ice Portal the way to his spawn place is much faster. You can also leave the noobchar there.

From Thais, let's sail to Vandura.

VANDURA

Keep in mind that Diblis the Fair is also a fairly convenient boss to check out in the Stealth Ring. In this case, however, we must have started The Shattered Isles Quest to have an access to Nargor, the island of Pirates.

TIQUANDA

Running through the jungle, it's also worth checking out Midnight Panther, a popular mount and Bestiary entry.

Leaving Tiquanda, you can run through the jungle back to Port Hope, but the other option is to cross the Kha'zeel Mountains and come to the Southern Darama Desert, near the gates of the ancient city of Ankrahmun.

DARAMA/DREFIA

While there isn't much going on in Southern Darama (near Ankrahmun), you'll encounter a lot more bosses in the north.

I recommend skipping White Pale and Rotworm Queen in your main character route and putting low-level noobchars equipped with Stealth Rings there.

Instead, it's worth a run through Drefia, a fallen city of undead, as it's a treat for boss-hunters!

On the way back, you can visit Fury Gate (if they appeared there) and choose a more convenient transport - carpet or ship.

We'll change the climate a bit and fly to freezing Svargrond!

SVARGROND

Bosshunters often use their alternative characters on the rock above Ocyakao's respawn, so I leave it to you to consider.

Svargrond is one of the more pleasant places to check out. There is relatively a lot going on here, and the distances to travel are not tiring. In addition, Hrodmir is teeming with Dire Penguins, which you can kill to complete your Bestiary entry. I have marked some of them (the ones you will encounter along the way) in green.

We will use the flying carpet again to get to the Zao Steppes.

ZAO

Zao is probably the only place in the whole Tibia with such a high intensity of bosses from the Nemesis category. Almost each of them also has at least two respawn spots, which makes this area really interesting!

By the way, you can also check for Draptors deep in Razachai undergrounds.

For Zao Steppes and Muggy Plains, it's good to have a shortcut with a fire portal to the Hall of Hopes (Forgotten Knowledge Quest). Otherwise, unfortunately, we have to return back to the carpet!

STATIC MAPS

Here you can view and download a static version of all maps presented above.

Disclaimer:

The maps are indicative. In order to present in a clear and transparent way the order of bosses to be checked, the lines are often led through buildings, water, or rocks. This path should not be taken literally.

Here we end our trip.

There are still a few bosses left on the map of Tibia, which live in quite a bit of isolation. Use your alternative chars to meet them, ask your friends for help to complete the Bosstiary. And don't forget about the bosses that are part of the Bank Robbery Mini World Change. Have a logged-out noobchar next to the World Board in Adventurer's Guild to check regularly if mwc is active!

Finally, you will catch ‘em all! ♥

While the quality of the post looks amazing, as a boss checker there's a lot of stuff I disagree with.
A lot of it has to do with alt character locations. As an example Xenia. Relogging a low char seems bad since the witch and mummy both see invisible and the witch might even set you on fire, making a quick logout impossible. Further, it just lays on the way to orc fortress, where you check the rare normal orc and warlord ruzad. You can also kill the black knight on the way if you desire.
Generally a good path speeds up your bosscheck a lot and some stealth ring characters are recommended, but just running with a dedicated route is much simpler and requires less investment. It also frees up character slot with you can use for other purposes (clusters, drome etc.)

I think we are getting into opinion-based topics here because I could analogously disagree with your proposal. I myself check Xenia with the noobchar logged out there hiding in the mummy room and I definitely prefer this method, Warlord Ruzard I don't plan to check with the main char either. I will say more: personally, I also check with noobchar such bosses as The Welter, Zushuka, and Tyrn (Drefia). However, I had to put a boundary somewhere, or suggest something, knowing that there will be someone who is more comfortable checking something with noobchar/main char. That's why in such places I emphasized in the text that this is something optional, because to a large extent you have to adjust it to your own capabilities (the time you have, the competition of bosshunters on the server, etc.) You play on the Marcia server, on which there is no great crowd (for example, when there are 400 players on Bona, on Marcia there are 23). However, you need to plan your boss-check route differently when there are 6 people playing on your server who have at least 20 chars with which they relog every 3-5 min from boss to boss. Doing long walks will cost you a lot of wasted time. Nevertheless, thanks for your comment, maybe someone will feel like making a trip that way as well :)
