Why can't I fish in Lake Equivocolao sometimes?

Hello guys,

I explain my question, Im interested on finishing this shimmer swimmers achivement (catching 50 of it) i have been doing it for some time and time to time, i cant get anything from lake, im spaming fishing rod, without cooldown, with worms in backpack but it doesnt work.

Have anyone any idea about what is happening?

I repeat i did it many times and i got a lot of shimmers swimmers, but time to time, i cant go for daily shimmer

This happens when the world change has already ended. There is a limit of successful fishing attempts that can be done to the lake on each rotation, which is 1000 (bones + shimmer swimmers), the same as the number of corpses that must be thrown into the lake to make it dirty. In any case, once that's over, you won't get anything from the lake, and at the next Server Save it won't be dirty anymore.

You can also check that by talking to the NPCs. Guides will say this:

The great lake near Port Hope is dirty. No shimmer swimmers have been seen under the surface for quite some time now.
