Im thinking about buying a really low level character but with a few achievs, mounts, access', charms, etc.
So I was thinking... if there's a rooked character with lets say soulwar done, primal done, outfits gotten, etc

What would happen with the skills?
Saw an old (years ago) video where a guy had 20ish skills and when selected a vocation his skill turned into 119 weapon skill If im not wrong.

So i'd like to know does that skill-grow up system still works that way when picking a vocation?
And if so, is there any calculator to see how high would the skill go on every skill?

Eg: lets say I have a 27 distance character in rook, ¿would it raise when chosing to become a paladin passing to mainland? if so, how high would it get?

Thanks :)

Can you please edit your question title to include the skill question your asking in the body of your question? Thank you

How about soulwar? Can someone who did soulwar before rooking do it again and get the reward? Is this possible?

In a nuthshell: your skills will be reset to 10 after you rook your character.

- Training on Dawnport and teleporting to Rookgaard

Skills of Dawnport characters are being converted to no-vocation skills while teleporting to Rookgaard. If you choose to train on Dawnport, sorcerer is the best vocation for it, because you will not deal much damage to the monsters and you will be able to AFK for a longer peroid of time.

Example: Sword fighting skill 10-100 on a knight takes 61 days of training.

When you teleport to Rookgaard with a knight vocation and sword fighting skill 100, you will arrive in Rookgaard temple as a no-vocation character with sword fighting 25, because 61 days of training on a no-vocation character gives you skill 25. Training calculators

Best monster to train with is the troll boss Salamander Trainer, once he spawns, you can train with it all day long (and thus gain XP points very slowly, avoiding getting to level 8), because he heals himself.

Remember, that it's not possible to teleport to from Dawnport to Rookgaard on a level higher than 9 and it's possible to attack other players on level 8 and higher, so try to stay below level 8 in case of a player killer.

- Teleporting from Dawnport to Rookgaard:

In order to teleport from Dawnport to Rookgaard you have to talk to NPC Inigo:

Hi > Rookgaard > Yes > Yes

This works only if you have visited Mainland on any character on the account at least once. If you have problems teleporting, relog and try again. If you’re level 10 or higher, you can kill your character to level 9, and then teleport.

- What can you bring from Mainland to Rookgaard:

- golden outfit

- wedding outfit

- recruiter outfit

- royal costume outfit? (most probably, but it’s not been tested)

- store outfits and mounts (bought for tibia coins)

- non-store mounts e.g. panda (it will disappear after you relog)

- achievements and achievement points

- charms and charm points

- red and black PvP skulls (you will not loose items upon death on Rookgaard even if you are marked with red/black skull)

- if you hit a monster on Mainland and rook your character, you will still get the XP, if someone else kills it

- prey hunting task (it will disappear if you will stop paying for it)

- levels and skills via death redemption blessing from the store? (unknown if it works)

Additionally, it's still possible to transfer many Dawnport items to Rookgaard, list of them can be found here.

Few times in history it was possible to transfer Mainland items to Rookgaard, list of them can be found here.

Each dead character will drop skills, most likely rooked character will have shit skills, like 50-70.

Also, when you rook character to rookgard all quests and outfits getting reset, the only thing you keep with the character is:

- Achievements

- Bestiary/charms (not sure tho)

When you die on lvl 6 (in the moment you would be downgraded to level 5) character will be teleported to rookgaard, and level will be set to 1 or 2 (dont remember), also all skills will be reset

About the "video" you saw, it had to be OT Server, cause there was never such system on real Tibia. When you leave rook you keep the skill you have.
