What is the success rate of skinning beaks from Night Harpys?

We need to successfully skin 20 beaks from Night Harpies in The Order of the Stag quest. What is the success rate of skinning beaks and about how many Night Harpies do I need to kill to skin 20 beaks?

To get 20 harpy beaks you need to kill something between 500 or 600 harpies… you can also use the minor charm Scavenge to get it faster

The skinning success rate during my hunts was approximately 4-5%. This seems on par with many others experiences as well.

This % seems to be similar to mine as well! I collected my beaks during December's Rapid Respawn event and got 20 beaks in 325 harpy kills (~6,1%). Then after event, I continued to quest and was lucky to bump into night harpy raids so stayed for the kills while still skinning and now I'm at 31 beaks and 525 kills (~5,9%)
