I haven't been able to find any explicit lore explanation from CipSoft or in the quest dialogue for why the crowns transform into trees after completing the Cults of Tibia quest.
However, the reward and even the transformation fits the broader themes surrounding Gerimor and the Cults of Tibia. Gerimor is an NPC closely associated with nature and balance, and the quest focuses on eliminating cults that spread corruption and disrupt natural forces. In this context, a tree can be seen as a symbol of growth, renewal, and restored life. The crown which is typically representing power or authority transforming into a tree may therefore reflect that the players victory is not about gaining power, but about allowing life and balance to grow again.
This interpretation aligns with Feyrists druidic themes and the quests anti-corruption narrative. Crunor, closely associated with druids and described in The Gods of Tibia as the "Lord of the Trees" and "Great Tree" further supports the tree rewards connection to Gerimors druidic symbolism. But it all remains speculative, as no official source confirms the intended meaning.
The quest do however hint at a larger, unresolved threat, suggesting that this may become clearer in future updates.
