How to use the Secret Agent Tool or Obsidian Knife on the blackened mirror in the Kilmaresh quest?

I already have blackened hand mirror-ivory mask but when i try use the knife or tool on the mirror nothing happens. Why am I not able to pass this mission?

Hey, I suggest you rephrase your question to make it clearer what you're trying to do.

You must go to the sanctuary of the god Suon in Nykri Delta:

Go up the stairs, equip the Ivory Mask, and use a tool (Kitchen Knife, Obsidian Knife, or Secret Agent Tool) on the blackened mirror.

If you make a mistake and/or try to do this in another place, you will have to use the mirror on fire to blacken it again.

i already have the blackend and the i equiped the mask and used the tool on it but nothing happend i tried alot of times.
