I have a question about the recent update that increased the Bestiary limits for the Sea Captain and Lizard Commander (from 5 kills to 500 kills).

I had both of these creatures fully unlocked and completed (5/5) before the update, and I already received the 30 charm points for each of them.

If I kill one of these creatures now, what happens?

  1. Status: Does the entry stay "Completed" so I can keep my charms, or does it revert to "In Progress" (e.g., 6/500)?

  2. Charm Points: Does the game take away the 30 points I already earned? If I kill one and the entry "resets," will those points be subtracted from my current charm pool points?

  3. Double Dipping: If it does reset to 6/500, do I get the points again once I hit 500, or are they only given once per lifetime?

I don't want to accidentally lose points or have my charms points decrease. Has anyone tested this yet?

1 - Yes, it's still complete.

2 - I saw people on the forum saying they didn't lose points. I don't remember how many points I had before, so I can't confirm. But it's not the first time CipSoft has made changes like this. In the past, they changed the difficulty of the creatures in Warzones 4-6 to Hard, and there was no "reset". In fact, in the news about the change made at the time, they made it clear that the entries would remain fully unlocked.

I can personally confirm this is accurate, I tested it myself across four different characters and compared my recently purchased main against its original bazar page I actually have 30 points more. To be sure, I even killed an extra Sea Captain to see if the stages would reset, but they didn't. This means anyone who has already completed it doesn't need to worry about doing the remaining 495 kills for each creature.

I've taken evidence of everything, but since I’m posting this as a comment, I can’t include the files here. I also didn’t want to be the one to answer my own question right away, I wanted to give someone else a chance to jump in first

Here is prove of what raven said and why i choose as the correct answer
No Reset No charm points or progress lost

Prove of points not being taken away

I wish I could provide definitive proof, but unless I shared every single page of my Bestiary, it’s hard to show the 'before and after' in a single screenshot. However, I can confirm that these are the only two entries I’ve worked on since purchasing the character, and the points have remained consistent.

You already lost your 30 charm points so you will need to complete this bestiary entry to get the charm points back

Some people got -30 charm points before this change (because already locked a rune charm)

Proof of negative charms :

since i was comparing it with the new information vs bazar information it did not seem like it was taken away when in fact cipsoft had taken away 30 charm points
