With the addition of new starter areas and the removal of access to Dawnport, it makes me wonder: Have any areas ever been completely replaced and repurposed since the release of tibia?

Some areas have received minor graphic changes and had quests added to the area, but zones like Calcanea, the Isle of Destiny, and Dawnport still have not been removed from the map. Has there ever been an occupied area replaced with something entirely new?

For reference, I would be speaking about the modern Tibia once the main continent had been solidified after update 7.2

This depends heavily on which version of Tibia we’re comparing it to. A 'drastic' change to an old school player is very different from a version 10.x player’s perspective. Also, the seasonal events (Orcsoberfest/Winterlight) are probably worth their own separate thread since they don't permanently replace the map.

Early Tibia was geographically very different, and not just in terms of sprites. A perfect example is the Serpentine Tower quest; most people are stuck because we don’t know where to look. Today, we have no idea where to even look for the original clues because the tower's location shifted so fundamentally. That's why I think we need to define the era we're talking about and keep seasonal events like Orcsoberfest as a separate question, since those are just temporary changes.
