It is possible to make 'quick as turtle' achievement on new island aragonia/targuna?

I'm wondering if the "new turtle" is compatible with this achievement. Has anyone tested this yet?

I did a test for 40 minutes. I was making about 60 travels per minute. I didn't get the achievement.

Considering the achievement description, only the Sea Turtles' travels to Laguna Beach count towards the achievement.

There... is... simply... no... better... way - than to travel on the back of a turtle. At least you get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Laguna.

After the test, I decided to get the achievement in Laguna. It took me about 14 minutes. So, I can confirm that none of the travels I made in Targuna/Aragonia counted.
