is the Crypt bile (crypt wand) to bad like many people says?

on the first i think its a litle useles because it gives benefits for phisical damage, for what, explosions?, and the benefits for energy damage are not to good?, can any one that have it made a real critic about it?,

I'm not a Master Sorcerer, but some friends said that it is useful on hunts that take Energy Damage, since it buffs Rage of the Skies and gives some Energy pierce, but the highlight is Physical damage with explosions. I have already seen some high levels using it on Bakragore with explosions doing 1.000+ damage per rune. I think it's mainly designed for bosses, since many of them are weak or neutral to Physical.
