Recommended Protections
It is recommended to use protection against Ice, Physical, and Death Damage.
Additionally, Furious Jaracal can cause Mana Drain.
Healing Mechanic
The boss is healed by Death Damage.
Avoid using Death Damage spells, Sudden Death Runes, or weapons that deal Death Damage during the fight.
First Phase
This is a solo fight.
At the beginning, the boss summons 2 Furious Jaracal. Several Frost Flower Asuras and Midnight Asuras will also be summoned throughout the fight.
Bone Fiddle Mechanic
After defeating the initial 2 Furious Jaracal, use a Bone Fiddle approximately every 30 seconds.
The Bone Fiddle does not need to be equipped. Simply use the Use option on it.
When the Bone Fiddle is used, the boss interrupts the summoning of additional Furious Jaracal and says:
The old song... What is this? I strictly forbade anyone from playing it! ... Ah, the pain of remembering!
If the Bone Fiddle is not used for approximately 70 seconds, the boss will say:
Come feast, my darlings!
The boss will then summon 4 Furious Jaracal, making the fight significantly more difficult.
Moonsilver Drift
Several Moonsilver Drifts will appear around the room during the fight.
Walking over one of them will make you take approximately 350 to 400 Death Damage.
However, if an asura walks over a Moonsilver Drift, it will transform into a more powerful version.
Recommendation
To prevent the boss from summoning additional Furious Jaracal, use the Bone Fiddle every 30 seconds throughout the entire first phase.
Second Phase
After being defeated for the first time, the boss will say:
You have defeated me, come here and take your prize!
The boss will then cast a powerful Ice Damage attack, dealing approximately 5,000 damage.
Immediately afterward, the boss returns with 60,000 hit points.
During this phase, it is no longer necessary to use the Bone Fiddle. Simply defeat the boss one more time to complete the fight.
