Does the Great Expedition lottery reset every event?

If I keep my points from last event and I participate in the first event and not the second... do I still get entered into the lottery? Or is it per event?

According to Liamas, it's per event:

The count for the raffle event points/tickets will reset for every new event. So everyone starts at zero.
