The panther is one of the most beautiful mounts in my opinion, but I'm not very good in check bosses, so what's the best strategy to find her?

I have my own theory on a possible method in activating its spawn. I did some research and saw there is a mummy boss located in Edron, Mahatheb.

Tibia wiki indicates the following method on activating this boss spawn as: 'Kill the Vampire at the end of the tomb until Mahatheb spawns. The boss itself is not much stronger than the regular monsters in the tomb.' His tomb contains some mobs with 1 lone vampire that you kill until it eventually spawns the boss.

I did some exploring of the three locations for the Panther as listed on wiki. I noticed that at each spawn location a lone Tiger seems to be present. I wonder if there is a similar mechanism where killing the tiger will eventuate in the spawn of the boss. I am currently testing this theory out and will continue over the next few days and post any positive results here.

~~~ EDIT V.2 ~~~
I had spent a few days testing my theory out. I used the far east single spawn location for my testing since I read that it would spawn in one of the three locations and this was the most secluded (as antica has a lot of traffic). I figured that if there was any weight to the theory, then there would be no tiger if the panther was spawned and it would require the killing of a few hundred tigers, as is the case was the above mentioned mummy boss. I spent a large number of hours killing the same tiger to no effect. I also read that it spawns more often an hour or so after SS. I spent a few days doing timed checks with the tiger killing. I actually came across the panther along the river between the middle bridge location and east location on route to checking the east location. I found it exactly 47 minutes after ss and the there was a lone tiger spawned with it, which sheds a lot of doubt that it is triggered by the tiger. I believe timed persistent checks is the best method from my testing, along with bringing a music box to ensure a 100% tame.
The downvotes are clearly not provided fairly given there is much assumptions and conjecture provided in most of these sorts of questions, not to mention if you review the original downvoter's many questions he himself doesn't follow the set out guide for posting proper questions. Given I have lost some 20 points on this one comment and I provided very clear language and everything I had written/asserted is all verified within wiki itself, I don't feel it appropriate to utilize or contribute to this site any further. Good day.
I understand your point, but you seem to operate on an assumption that the down-votes are fixed and carved in stone. You've received constructive feedback on what could be improved so that the answer receives better reception. I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't work with it, but I respect your decision.
Don't get discouraged by someones opinion, you are going to find people that disagree with you all the time, focus on the good instead. I for one find your other questions interesting and have used some of the insights from the house questions myself, and would love to learn about your progress here. Heck if you found something useful use it as an "in your face" moment for the guy who down voted you. Anyways don't take things too personal it's supposed to be fun, it's not like we can convert tibiaqa points into anything useful
Midnight Panther spawns usually after 2-4 days counting from the last spawn in 3 different places (sometimes the number of days between its spawn may be different because of patches and updates of the client). From my own experience, there is no good strategy except checking it as often as possible during the time with a high chance of its appearance.
Very nice guide you can find on TibiaBosses:
https://www.tibiabosses.com/forum/topic/panther-checker-character-guide-kill-or-mount/
Recently one guy on TibiaBosses asked what he's doing wrong because he is checking it 3 times per day, everyday and still no results! - so 3 times per day is in my opinion absolutely not enough, especially since CipSoft added panther to the bestiary and everyone wants to kill it at least 5 times. You don't have to check it everyday, panther spawns every 3rd day (rarely it is 2nd or 4th day).
TIP:
Don't run too fast through the spawn place, because Midnight Panther is often invisible for quite a long time. I suggest to stand there (if you know the exact place) and wait for energy hit (if you don't want to waste your stamina) or simply throw avalanche rune.
Hi! I have experience with finding the Midnight Panther, however I only found her twice. I found her at different times once I found her at around 2 pm the other time it must've been 6 pm central time (I'm in Texas currently). I found her maybe 2 months apart (I didn't keep track) The key to finding the Midnight Panther would be to keep checking! Every spare time you can! I would log out there on my MAIN who needed the mount that way I can be the first to get to her.
I heard she only spawns every 3-4 days in one spawn or the other 2 spawns (I cannot confirm this but many people who check her told me this).  I also heard she goes invisible so it's best to make sure you do a scan slowly and surely, I use utana vid or a stealth ring to make sure other creatures don't bother me. Also from what I've been told is she can be lured to pretty much anywhere, but chances are if she's lured it's because someone did it and she runs really quick. So check all 3 spawns with an open mind that she can be anywhere.
Also, make sure you use a music box and not a whip as this spawn is so rare you don't want to risk not mounting her. So my best advice: Always keep checking! Log off at any of the three locations (I'd log off at Grizzly Adams or the Bridge connecting Port Hope to Ankrahmun)! Check multiple times a day whenever your not busy even if you don't want to!
I've found the midnight panther exactly where it is marked on the maps on 2 of the 3 locations. The two marked close to the banuta hole is where I found both of my Panthers. I didnt find one however by the carni hole yet. I'm sure theres locations of the midnight panther that aren't known so it doesnt hurt to check around as mentioned previously the panther can run and be lured.
This question is quite similar to:
And what's the average time between one and another check? Every hour? Each 2 two hours?
by (17,251 points)
As much as you can, every hour sounds reasonable as this boss can spawn at anytime.
I would like to add, don't check the 3 regular spots that display from tibiamaps, on tibiawiki etc because they ain't accurate. I've seen some videos (I think from ferumbrinha) and people actually knew when and where the panther would spawn as the video portrayed players standing and waiting around 30sec for the panther to spawn on top of their face.
There seems to be more to the panther than you can find on the internet.
Yes I agree, theres probably more spots than known on the internet. I've found the midnight panther exactly where it is marked on the maps. The two marked close to the banuta hole is where I found both of my Panthers. I didnt find one however by the carni hole.
Yeah, and it seems there's actually a certain set time for them to spawn if people can stand in a spot, record it and have it appear or it's crazy luck/calulcation :P
