Loot entries in bestiary will require the collection of the item or killing a creature that drops the item is enough to unlock it?

Pretty much self explanatory. Do I need to collect the dropped item or having the message with the loot is enough to unlock the entry in the bestiary loot list?

No, u dont need to pick up item to have it in bestiary page, you just need to loot this (have message in loot channel)

You need to drop it only.
It happened with a few people to have a very rare item unlocked on the bestiary without picking it up.
