Due to the Sunset of Tournaments, this question is outdated.

What is the best strategy for win/high place in tibia tournament?

What kind of proffesion/hunting grounds/bestiary/points are the best to choose? cool

I ask about both of servers which are: restricted store and not restricted.

It would be interesting if you choose to bestiary check the list of monsters that are not active for scoring.

Very hard question to answer as there has been plenty of different tournaments and different rule sets. But I guess that's key to this answer and winning..know the rules!

I haven't played in any tournaments and I don't race to top level on new worlds so someone else with more experience in these might have some better insight.

First of all, it is hard to make a recommendation for all tournaments as the rules change in every tournament. Some focus on leveling, while others focus on bestiary points. For example, both tournaments so far offered 100 points towards your tournament score per level. But the first tournament added 100x your bestiary points to your score. So obviously in this tournament you needed to grab a decent amount of levels to be able to complete bestiary entries quickly. But the main source of score was from bestiary. Completing rats would be worth 500 points, so would be the same as getting 5 levels. So once your character starts taking longer between levels you have to determine if the bestiary score modifier is worth it.

In this case, do you think you could kill 250 rats before you got 5 levels? So in these tournaments you will have to prioritize making decent experience and changing your hunting spawn frequently.

As for the best vocation, I would say it would be either sorcerer or druid. Mages are a lot quicker off the start with being able to PG and do area damage with runes. This benefits them in getting top levels and being able to throw runes like avalanche and gfb to complete charms quickly if they are the main source.

The main thing I don't really know about is how feasible it would be to pg a mage in this manner and complete bestiary on a server where the store was restricted and you couldn't fund your leveling with tibia coins.

So, in conclusion mages are quickest to level and grant you the area damage you need for quick bestiary completion and tournament lengths have only been a week so you don't really need to invest in anything for the long run.
