I have recently opened a cave to the server I play in which acts as a safe haven, training zone, and contains some minor features for players to utilize. One of the caves within also contains a show room which I have blocked using beds (see picture below for set up). However, this can be risky if those sleeping players can be kicked from those beds, whether through some player controlled mechanic, or a game controlled mechanic like a forced shut down or update. From my knowledge, the only time a sleeping player can be kicked is either by the owner themselves or if the owner loses the house (I assume the sleeping players within would also be kicked). Is there any other possible way or time sleeping players can be kicked?

Another trick I have seen is using store items where the bed is, and then place non stackables/movables behind them. Only the house owner can wrap store items and if they cannot be moved (Because sqm behind them are blocked by other items, i.e. coal basins) this will block the entrance without need for any sleeping chars. What world do you play in? I might be able to help you test things this is an interesting topic to me too.

Oh nice, that definitely could work.  I play on Antica under the name Shady Doctor. I am happy to do some testing of different theories with you. I have a few different projects with the other caves in mind as well :)

They can only be removed either by the owner, when tibia does an update because they teleport everyone to the temple or when the server gets a shut down for the same reason

Hmm. Which sort of updates would the temple placement be applied? I know I have downloaded a couple of minor updates for bug fixes and what not the last few days and they have remained in bed. This could be a problem for me if sleeping characters get teleported for those reasons.

only major updates does it, some events might trigger it or major bug fixes may i would suggest to do this with other house this is very complicated to do and people will take advantage the second you make a mistake

From my experience only owners can "kick" them by clicking on the bed. Uninviting chars will leave them on the beds until they get online. Same will happen with major updates where everyone is tp to their temple, chars will stay on the bed until they get online.

Ahh I see. So even if a major update occurs, so long as I never log the characters in they should remain in the beds regardless?

That's what I've seen based on my personal experience with my chars and houses. Just to be safe I would move valuables before any major update
